Teacher of Food & Nutrition and/or Design Innovation with opportunity for additional responsibilities

Salary: From £34.000 to £51.000 (depending on skills and experience)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full Time or Part Time (If part time, salary will pro rata)

Brighton Girls' has an exciting opportunity for an inspiring and motivated teacher to join their thriving school from November 2026. We are looking for a teacher of Food & Nutrition and Design Innovation (3D Design). The ideal candidate would teach both subjects at Key stage 4, but the role can be flexible depending on the individual and the roles can be separated into two subjects if required. 

You will contribute to providing an excellent education for the pupils by teaching challenging, well-organised lessons with expertise and enthusiasm, as well as offering support to the learning of individual students and contributing to the school’s pastoral system.

You will need to use an appropriate range of teaching strategies and resources, including e-learning, to meet learners’ needs and expectations and raise levels of attainment.

You will be an enthusiastic, positive and hardworking teacher, with a passion for Food & Nutrition and/or Design Innovation and the ability to communicate this to others. ECTs or those with relevant experience are welcome to apply.
